She was predeceased by: her sisters, Genoveva Bonugli and Dolores Pesina; and her grandson David R. Laurel. She is survived by: her children, Hector V. Laurel Jr. (Bianca), David Laurel (Michelle), Luis Laurel, Lisa Laurel Garza (Raul) and Raquel Laurel; her sisters, Elvira Ramirez and Celia Castro; her niece Iris; her great-nephew Luis; and her niece Liza. She is also survived by two brothers-in-law, all 5 children, 8 grandchildren, many Godchildren, and nephews and nieces and their children.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Mission Park Funeral Chapels South (1700 SE Military Dr, San Antonio, TX 78214). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Leo the Great Catholic Church (4415 S Flores St, San Antonio, TX 78214).
