He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edgar and Frieda Voigt Harber; his wife Jo Ann Harber; his son Paul Alan Harber; his siblings, Milton Harber, William Harber, Viola Boyd, Lucille Dyer, Anita Haecker, Otine Schaefer and Mary Jane Harber; and his brother-in-law Gilbert Dub Parks (Gloria Parks).
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Harber Neagle (Bill) and Suzanne Harber Suk (John); his grandchildren, Alice Marie Guerra Stickman (Matt), Daniel Alexander Guerra (Marina), Samuel Benjamin Guerra of San Antonio, Rachel Colleen Neagle and Jeremy Wyatt Neagle of Kernersville; and his daughter-in-law Paula Lios.
