With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elpidio Luna of San Antonio, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 23, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Elpidio may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aniceto Luna and Maria Melita Mendoza (Ilda Luna); and his sister Silvia Leos Mendoza. He is survived by: his wife Esmeralda Luna; and his children, Elpidio Luna Jr., Leonor Flores, Sandra Espinosa, Anna Monreal, Hilda Lopez and Maryelena Luna.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM. A Mass was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (1114 Willow St, San Antonio, TX 78208).
