We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2024, at the age of 80, Elida B. Acovio (San Antonio, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Elida has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her husband Benito F. Acovio Sr.; her son Andrew Acovio; and her parents, Perfecto Bocanegra and Celestina Garcia Bocanegra. She is survived by: her sons, Ruben Bocanegra (Stephanie), Rogelio Acovio (Connie) and Javier Acovio (Rachel); and her sister Martina Garcia. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Mission Park Funeral Chapels South (1700 SE Military Dr, San Antonio, TX 78214). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
