He is survived by: his daughters, Edwina Barnes and Latoya Scott; his siblings, Michael (Carmelita Thomas), Benjamin (Aundrea Scott), Joe Scott, Margaret Thomas, Johnnie (Macio Tennie), Darlene (Don Sparks) and Milicent Scott; and his friend Doris Fletcher. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Greater Faith Community Church (417 Wesley St, Brownwood, TX 76801). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at the Eastlawn Cemetery.
