It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dudley Burrell of San Antonio, Texas, born in Columbia, Mississippi, who passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulysses Burrell and Irena March Burrell; and his siblings, William Bill Burrell, Clifton (Ann Burrell) and Hattie B McCrary.
He is survived by: his godchildren, Songa Burrell and Kimberly Pitts; his siblings, Eddie Burrell Sr. (Peggy) of Chicago, IL, Louis Burrell and Mary Yolanda Gant of Kankakee, IL; and his siblings-in-law, William McCrary of Decatur, GA and Delores Burrell of Aurora, IL.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
