She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Howell and Myrtle Freeman Howell; and her husband Gus Reyes. She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Reyes (Karen), Dr. Alan Reyes (Dawn) and Homer Reyes (Julie); her granddaughters, Katie Pearce (Bill) and Allison Hinojosa (Spencer); and her great grandchildren, Kourtney, Owen and Cullen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, wonderful neighbors.
A burial was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
