With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Joe Gonzales Sr. (San Antonio, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Gabriel Gonzales; his brother Alfred Gonzales; and his daughter-in-law Stella Riojas Gonzales. He is survived by: his mother Mary D. Gonzales; his sons, David J. Gonzales, Jr., Alex R. Gonzales and Eric J. Gonzales (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jacob R. Gonzales, Cristian Gonzales, Kevin Gonzales, April Gonzales and Liam Gonzales; and his siblings, John Gonzales (Irma) and Virginia Gonzales (David). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 5:30 PM at the Angelus Chapel (1119 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78215). A rosary will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (600 Oblate Dr, San Antonio, TX 78216).
