He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Palmer and Blanche Palmer; his wife Sandi (Sandi); his brother Larry; and his grandson Trevor.

He is survived by: his sons, Troy (Jennifer) of Mesquite and Jon (Shannon) of Canyon Lake, Texas; and his sister Alleyne Rizor of Casa Grande, Arizona. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
