Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Courand leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Courand N. Rothe, MD and Ann T. Strain Rothe; and his sister Ann Rothe Duvall. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Halstead Rothe; his son David (Lori); his grandchildren, Tristan, Juliana and Madelyn Rothe of Puyallup, WA; and his sisters, Janie Magee (Jim) of Port Aransas and Alice Jones of San Antonio. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
