She was predeceased by: her parents, Atanacio Sanchez and Cecilia Sanchez; her sister Sofia; her children, Luiz Talamantez and Linda Talamantez; her grandson David M Talamantez Jr.; and her son-in-law John Lastinger (Louis Talamantez).

She is survived by: her children, Zoila Lastinger, Louis Talamantez (Nancy), Janie Tamez (Rolando), JoAnn Romero and David Talamantez. She is also survived by 16 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
