She was predeceased by: her parents, Silvestre Rivera and Anita Rivera; her husband Ignacio Napoles; and her siblings, Josefina Pineda and Silvestre Rivera Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Diane Garza (Tommy), Lindy Rodriguez (Chico), Henry Avila (Norma) and Lisa Avila. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mission Park Funeral Chapels South (1700 SE Military Dr, San Antonio, TX 78214). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
