He was predeceased by: his parents, Tzu-Hsiu Yuan (Father) and Lee Hsu (Mother) of Gaomi; and his wife Anna Hua Chao. He is survived by: his children, David Chia Wei, Chia Lopez and Robert; his children-in-law, Patrick Lopez and Hai Hua Yuan; and his grandchildren, Leah, Megan Yuan, Sean and Nathan Lopez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
