He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome C. Hierholzer and Mary Jo Danford Hierholzer; and his brother Jerry Hierholzer. He is survived by: his wife Janice Hierholzer of San Antonio; his daughter Inez; his son-in-law Kevin Lauterjung of San Antonio; his grandchildren, Brittany Guerrero (Gio), Morgan Pickett (Kyle), Weston Marquez, Amber Lauterjung and Brad Kruithof; his great grandchildren, Eli Guerrero, Noah Guerrero, Aiden Guerrero and Carter Pickett; and his sisters, Janice Voss of Boerne and Sherry Gentry (Richey) of Castroville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home (1016 Lorenzo St, Castroville, TX 78009). The military honors will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
