He is survived by: his sister Faye "Julia"; his wife Greta Nation; his children, Brian Polk, Kendrick Cooper and Shaundra Hughes (Robert); and his grandchildren, Robert Hurd, Jr., Ra'Jean Hurd, Korianna Polk and Corey Polk. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
