He was predeceased by: his parents, Issac Barnes and Mary Lois Barnes; and his half-brother Issac Barnes Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Barnes; his children, Guy Barnes (Dana) and Courtney Barnes; his grandchildren, Deidra, Kayla, Elijah, Joshua and Jacob Barnes; his brothers, Roy Barnes of Edna and James Troy Barnes of Abilene, Texas.; and his aunts, Melrose Goode of San Antonio and Mildred Bacon of San Antonio. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
