It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Sims of San Antonio, Texas, born in Carbon, Texas, who passed away on August 13, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hastings and Nina Hastings; her sister Alma Jo; and her husband Warner B. Sims. She is survived by: her children, Philip (Nancy) and Sharon (Mark); her grandchildren, Lauren (Peter), Katherine (Caleb), Shannon (Sam), Maegan (Paul) and Jordan (Rachel); and her great grandchildren, Lucas, James Philip, Janie, Emma Kate, John Caleb, Foster, Logan and Amelia.
