She was predeceased by: her parents, Luby "Joe" Benton and Dora Lee Benton; her husband Robert Edward "Bill" Lynch, Jr.; and her siblings, Adell Jones, Jo Ann Barfield, Linwood Benton and Donald Benton.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Lynch Runkle (Bill Runkle) of Garden Ridge, Samantha Lynch Kintner of Wichita Falls and Robert E Lynch III; her grandchildren, Rachel Runkle Resop (Aaron Resop), Marc Runkle, Matthew Runkle, Emily Kintner, Miles Kintner, Molly Kintner and Steven Kintner; her great grandchildren, Joey Resop, Savannah Resop and Jack Resop; and her siblings, Georgia Thornton of Goldsboro, NC, Betty Ross (George) of Denver, CO and Tommy Benton of Clayton, NC.. She is also survived by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Bert's memory to Schertz United Methodist Church.
