She was predeceased by: her mother Maria Pesina; her husband Roger Rodriguez Perez; her daughter Grace Perez; her stepfather Joe Vega Sr.; her brothers, Jessie and Joe Vega; her aunt Tomasa Guerrero; her uncle Rudy Guerrero; her great-grandparent Refugia Pesina; and her nephew Richard Guerrero.
She is survived by: her father Hilario Gutierrez; her daughter Melissa Perez; her grandchildren, Frank Gallegos Sr., Samantha, Sabrina, Brandon and Zoey; her great grandchild Richard; her siblings, Pauline, Lupe, Nana, Connie, Annie, Johnny, Santos and Tony; and her niece Elizabeth Bernal.
