She was predeceased by: her husband Hector Benavides Sr.; and her son Hector Benavides Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Janie Benavides-Chavez (Jerry), Raquel Benavides, Veronica Benavides-Smith (Clayton), Leroy Benavides and Victor Benavides; her grandchildren, Hector, Marin, Zeke, Angel, Leroy (Ashley) and Stephon (Solomon); and her great grandchildren, Leila, Vince, Emory, Marvel and Logan.
