He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline H. Cervantes; his son Raymond Cervantes, Sr.; his parents, Virginia Hernandez and Marcelo Cervantes; and his siblings, Celia Borja, Roberto Cervantes, Sr., Elido Cervantes, Andrea Cervantes and Isidro Cervantes.
He is survived by: his children, Gracie C. Vasquez (Carlos), Marcelo Cervantes, Sr. (Yvette), Bartolo Cervantes, Jr., Louis Cervantes, Sr. (Carol) and Yolanda C. Flores (Frank); his sister Maria-Mage Lopez; his grandchildren, Louis Cervantes, Jr., Jacob Cervantes (Maria), Crystal Cervantes, Selena Cervantes, Armad Sandoval, Steven Cervantes (Emily), Marcelo Cervantes, Jr., Raymond Cervantes, Jr., Gracie Lynn Cervantes, Ariel Cervantes, Joseph Cervantes, Joshua Flores, Caylee Vasquez and Hannah Flores; his stepgrandson Charles Vasquez; and his great grandchildren, Xavier and Isaiah.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Angelus Funeral Home Chapel (1119 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78215). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Angelus Chapel (1119 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78215). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (618 S Grimes St, San Antonio, TX 78203). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at the Meadowlawn Memorial Park (5611 E Houston St, San Antonio, TX 78219).
