He is survived by: his brother Jeff; his son Matthew Virgil Smith; his brothers, Martin Smith (Sandra Smith) of San Antonio and Jeffery Smith (April Pesillo) of San Antonio; his aunts, Joan Miller of Crockett and Gloria Powell (Jim Powell) of Cheneyville; and his uncle Glen Smith of Sulphur.
