She is survived by: her husband Paul Gergen; and her children, Jean Marie Schwartz, Bill Gergen, Joseph Gergen, Mary Clare DeGroot and Julie Kiyabu. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren.

A burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (17501 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, TX 78266). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
