He was predeceased by: his former wife Carmen S. Gonzales; his parents, Cipriano J. Gonzales and Juanita Pastrano Gonzales; his grandson Jade A. Sterrett; and his brother Jose P. Gonzales.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Ramirez-Gonzales; his children, Armando S. Gonzales Jr. and Yvonne Mata; his grandchildren, Celeste A. Gonzales, Alexander J. Gonzales, Desmond M. Antellan, Nicholas Isaac Huerta, Jewel L. Sterrett and Vanessa Gonzales; and his siblings, Hermelinda Gonzales, Manuel P. Gonzales, Maria E. Diaz and Juanita Gonzales. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Funeraria Del Angel Trevino (226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237). A rosary will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A procession will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home (226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
