She was predeceased by: her husband Jose G. Riojas; her parents, Juan Alvarado and Antonia Alvarado; her stepfather Martin Alvarado; and her siblings, Alicia Martinez, Juan Alvarado, Olga Bustamante and Dario Alvarado.
She is survived by: her son Carlos A. Riojas (Monica); her sisters, Maria Inez Diosdado, Dolores Paysinger, Anna Montalvo and Lydia Robledo; and her granddaughters, Brianna Riojas and Rebecca Riojas. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM and at 10:00 AM. A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Angelus Chapel (1119 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78215). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (159 Camino Santa Maria, San Antonio, TX 78228). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the San Fernando Cemetery (1735 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78226).
