He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wenzel and Rosie Wenzel; his son Allen Wenzel (Elizabeth); his grandson Conrad Tullis; and his siblings, Elmer, Harold, Bernard, John, Florine Davis, Rosabell Holtz and Bernadine Petoskey.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Huber, Suzie Marcella (Doug), Joanie Brooks (Larry), Christy Dempsey (Patrick) and Liz Tullis; his wife Lorine; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth; and his grandchildren, Chris Huber, Eric Marcella, Phillip Parker, Jennifer Von Bon, Stephanie Wenzel, Tyler McGinnis, Morgan McGinnis and Garrett Tullis. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
