She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Ellis Goins Sr.; her parents, Sylvester Jackson and Jewell Moore Jackson; and her sisters, Sandra Jackson, Christine Johnson and Sheralyn Brinson (Donnie).

She is survived by: her children, Irene Katrinka, Krystal (Darryl), Katrice (Glen Sr.) and Edward Ellis Jr. (Kellien); her grandchildren, Tara, Ashley, Kristian, Kai, Karissa, Kamaria, Jairus, Kirby, Glen Jr., Quindon, Caleb, Kadesha, Josiah, Lauren and Jasmine; and her siblings, Mary L. Jackson Fears and Jimmie Dean Jackson. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great grandchild.
