It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Celeste Merlo (San Antonio, Texas), who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Anne Celeste may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Anne Celeste touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father George Anthony Merlo. She is survived by: her mother Maria Luisa Merlo; her stepson Jake Tinsley; and her brother George Merlo (Sandra). She is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and countless cherished friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sunset Northwest Funeral Home (6321 Bandera Rd, San Antonio, TX 78238). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Anthony Mary Claret Catholic Church (6150 Roft Rd, San Antonio, TX 78253). A Mass will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
