He was predeceased by: his sons, Jesus Murillo and Juan Antonio Murillo. He is survived by: his wife Lydia Guerrero; and his children, Santiago (Alicia Deleon Murillo), Carmen Murillo Yañez (Rafael Yañez), José T Murillo, Fernando (Linda Nava Murillo), Lazaro (Hilda Mauricio Murillo), Catalina Murillo Jayasi (Juan), Jayasi, Patricia Murillo, Anastacio Murillo Jr. (MaryAnn Gonzalez), Elizabeth Murillo, Saul (Christina Garcia Murillo) and Samuel Murillo. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Castle Ridge Mortuary West (8008 Military Dr W, San Antonio, TX 78227). A prayer was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the San Fernando Cemetery (1735 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78226).
