She was predeceased by: her parents, Octavio Tamez and Lilia Tamez; her husband Jose Alvarado Jr.; and her siblings, Octavio and Amada Serna (late Jose Alvarado Jr.).
She is survived by: her sisters, Rosa Amelia Diaz and Ninfa Juarez; and her children, Alicia Arriaga (Jose), Joe Alvarado III (Silvia), Sara Belmontes (Larry), Gracie Martinez (Pete), Lily Flora (Jeff), Gloria Craft (Mitch) and Rosie Loar (Chuck). She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
