Alice Yvonne Shaw Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alice Yvonne Shaw of San Antonio, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Roy Massengale and Minnie Lucille Drumm Massengale; her husband Charles Shaw Jr.; and her siblings, Barbara Jerkins, Doris Duran, Wilburn Massengale, Lewis Massengale, Wayne Massengale, Lee Roy Massengale Jr. and James Massengale.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles R. Shaw III (Chuck) and Mark A. Shaw Sr.; her grandchildren, Ashley Denecamp (Danny) and Mark A. Shaw Jr. (Nikki); her great grandchildren, Emily Grace Denecamp, Daniel Ray Denecamp III, Mark Alan Shaw III and Charles Wayne Shaw; her siblings, Ronnie Massengale (Lina), Harry Massengale (Mary), Larry Massengale (Ruth), Norman Massengale (Hope), Betty Klein (Gene) and Carol Busby (Spurgeon); her siblings-in-law, George Ronnie Shaw and Betty Lou Shaw; and her pets, Knubbers and Furby.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Boldtville Presbyterian Church (6631 New Sulphur Springs Rd, San Antonio, TX 78263). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at the Cover Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donation in Alice's name to Shriners Children's Hospital or St. Jude's are greatly encouraged.
