He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfredo Alvarado and Petra Alvarado; and his sister Angelina Cardona. He is survived by: his children, Ina Garza (Arthur), Patricia Alvarado, Ignacio Alvarado (Anjelica) and Juan Alvarado (Adriana); and his sister Gloria Puente. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels-South (3520 S Flores St, San Antonio, TX 78204). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 6:30 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the San Jose Burial Park (8235 Mission Rd, San Antonio, TX 78214).
