She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Calvin Patrick and Cordell Patrick (Hubbard); her husband John David Kyle; her grandson Clinton Moore; and her sister Jeannie Marie Williams.

She is survived by: her children, Jacquelyn Marie Menefee (Kyle), Melva Ann Moore (Kyle) and John David Kyle Jr.; and her sisters, Gloria Blalock and Charlene Grant.
