He was predeceased by: his father Abel Gomez Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Carlos Sauceda and Andrea Kasandra Gomez; his mother Andrea Gomez; and his siblings, Daniel Gomez, Misael Gomez, Mary Lou Gomez, Noemi Prado, Esther Preston, Raquel Gomez-Shappell and Noelia Gomez-Neiman. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
