He is survived by: his wife Karon Pennington; his children, Melissa Sikes Phelps (Shawn) of San Angelo and Thomas Lane Sikes, Jr. (Valerie) of Laredo; his grandchildren, Melodi Alvarez (Ashley) of San Angelo, Jordan Alvarez of San Angelo, Robert Alvarez of San Angelo, Savanah Phelps of San Angelo, Gianna Sikes of Laredo, Micah Sikes of Laredo, A. J. Gutierrez of Laredo, Audrey Gutierrez of Laredo, Brooklyn Sikes of Laredo and Presley Sikes of Laredo; and his great grandchildren, Elena Banda, Olivia Alvarez, Davian Alvarez and Aubrey Phelps.
Viewing was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel (402 Rio Concho Dr, San Angelo, TX 76903). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
