Though Shirley Laverne Womack may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley Laverne Womack touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Bruner; and her son David Bruner. She is survived by: her sons, Bobby Bruner (Sharon Felts) and Kyle Bruner (Kim Bruner); her sister Donna Sawyer; her niece Darla Poole; and her grandchildren, Erica Nickols, Ashley Warren, Jake Bruner, Kellsey Bruner and Austin Bruner. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and in remembrance of Shirley's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the American Cancer Society or a tribute gift to the Alzheimer's Association.
