With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Eileen Grosshans in San Angelo, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2024 at the age of 91. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Shirley Eileen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Stahnke and Marsh Stahnke; her husband Max Henry Grosshans; and her daughter Susan Palmer. She is survived by: her children, Shelley Allen of San Angelo and Guy Grosshans of Florida; and her grandchildren, Foster Allen, Greg Grosshans and Kim Grosshans. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harper Funeral Home (2606 Southland Blvd, San Angelo, TX 76904). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens (San Angelo, TX 76905).
