With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pepper Jd of San Angelo, Texas, born in Shamrock, Texas, who passed away on July 23, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, J. L. Pepper and Frankie Pepper; and his siblings, Kathryn and Tommy Dale. He is survived by: his wife Liz Pepper; his children, DeAn, Shane Sellman, Kevin and Maggie Pepper; his sisters-in-law, Jane Strategier and Diana Pepper; his grandchildren, Brenna Martinez (James), Blake Smith (Erin), Chloe Smith (Christian), Loren Pepper, Nathan Pepper, Carter Sellman and Grant Sellman; and his great grandchildren, Violet Martinez and Ivy Smith.

The family suggests memorial donations may be made to South Georgia Baptist Church, 5209 S. Georgia St. Amarillo, TX 79110; or to First Baptist Church of San Angelo, 37 E. Harris Ave. San Angelo, TX 76903.

“Liz and Family, I am praying for God's presence, love and peace be with you. JD was an amazing guy. He loved the Lord, he loved his family, and had a wonderful sense of humor. I grew to love you and JD when you made Adult 3 your home at FBC. I will definitely miss him, his humor and his expressions of love for his Lord. Liz hold on to the Lord each day.
