He is survived by: his wife June of Lakeway; his children, Paul Spellman of Richmond and Lauran Hamby of Corpus Christi; his grandchildren, Matthew Spellman and Paula Glinski; his stepchildren, James Malek, Lisa Malek and Blake Whitehead; and also Martha Root of Austin. He is also survived by father and husband.
