He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzy M. Doty and Delsie Brummett Doty; and his daughter Delores Diane Wilks Tatum. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Doty; his son Mike Wilks (Cathy); his grandchildren, Steven Wilks (Aleisha), Kevin Guelker (Linda) and Caroline Sells (Drew); his son-in-law John Tatum; and his grandson Jonathan Doty Tatum. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
