John Pete Kouvelis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2025, at the age of 94, John Pete Kouvelis (San Angelo, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Kouvelis and Venetia Kouvelis (Kalaitzes); his brother Chris Pete; his wife Muriel Betsill Woodruff; his brother-in-law Alex Zotos; his great-niece Venetia Haby; his son-in-law Carl Lange; and his granddaughter-in-law Suzanne Gray (Woodruff).
He is survived by: his sister Connie Zotos (Kouvelis); his children, Deanna Lange (Woodruff), William Woodruff (Janea) and Joni White (Richard); his grandchildren, Vicki Bingham (Gray), Kristin Henry (Jason), Alison Lange (Marshall Nau), Mark Lange, Brian Woodruff, Michael Woodruff and Katherine White; his great grandchildren, Stormie, Ashlie Bingham, Grayson, Ava Henry, Georgia and Lilah Romike; his nieces and nephews, Peter Kouvelis (Hilda), Kandice Haby (Hayden Griffin Jr.), Chris Kouvelis Jr., Melissa Athens (Paul), Kimberly LaScala (Edward), John Zotos (Yasmin) and Pete Zotos (Karen); and also, Amanda Kaim (Gabriel), Samantha Amador (Shaun), Penelope LaScala, Alexa, Chris Kouvelis III, Haden Griffin Haby III (Georgea), Chris Athens (Brenna), Annalyse Zotos (Nathan Smith), Paul Athens Jr., Edward LaScala III (Tinsley), Nicholas, Luke, Maxwell Pete Zotos, Constantine, Xavier Zotos, James, Jordan, Jonathan, Hayden IV, Eleni, Christopher, Penelope, Caroline, Ellie, Easton, Jacob, Emma and Edward IV.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Harper Funeral Home (2606 Southland Blvd, San Angelo, TX 76904). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church (801 Montecito Dr, San Angelo, TX 76903). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the Fairmount Cemetery (1120 W Ave N, San Angelo, TX 76901).
