He was predeceased by: his parents, John Neil Stuart and Dorothy Marie Stuart (Murray) of Kentucky; his siblings, Jesse Stuart, Brill Stuart and Elaine Stuart McDonald; and his brother-in-law Myles Hart.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Baker; his child Big John; his stepchildren, Angela Helms (Mike) and Richard Brooks (Christina); his grandchildren, Whitney Weidner (Cody), Hunter Howell, Julia Middleton and Natalee Brooks; his great grandchildren, Sterlyn, Makynzi, Blakelee and Charlee Weidner; his siblings, Howard Stuart (Shannon) of Alabama, Regina Hart of Connecticut, Evelyn Stuart Squire (Joseph) of Alaska and Debra James (Charles) of Kentucky; his nephew John N. Stuart III (Tracy); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jarrett, Alexis and John N. Stuart IV of Texas; his nieces and nephews, Dorothy Stuart of Missouri, William Knapp of Kentucky, Theo Knapp of Kentucky, Patrick Stuart (Kaylin) of North Carolina, Devon Stuart of Florida, Edmund Hart of Alabama, Dorothy Hart of Connecticut, Tammy Hart of Connecticut, Mattie Squire (Kevin Tarlow) of Alaska, Joseph Squire (Donghui Wu) of Oregon, Charles Squire of Oregon, Sarah Boone-Witham of Utah and Evelyn Witham of Kentucky; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Robert, Blane, Cameron, Rachael Hart of Connecticut, Leah Corrigan (Corbin) of Connecticut and Sy Tarlow-Squire of Alaska; and also, Dublin Corrigan of Connecticut, Jarret, Alexis Stuart of Texas and John N Stuart IV of Texas.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shaffer Funeral Home - Grape Creek (8009 U. S. 87 Service Rd, San Angelo, TX 76901).
