He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Laurance Guthals and Kathleen Guthals (Scott); his brother Larry Guthals; and his nephews, Benjamin Guthals and Greg Guthals.
He is survived by: his son Chris Guthals; his sister Kathy McAlpine (Mike) of San Angelo; his aunt Janelle Schlaudt of San Angelo; his uncle Jerre Guthals (Connie) of Colorado; his nieces, Missy Terrell (Doug) of San Angelo and Sara Guthals; his cousins, Terrie, Ken, Donna, Val, Blaine, Karen and Kim; and his close friend Ford Smith of San Angelo.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church (2309 S A and M Ave, San Angelo, TX 76904).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a favorite charity.
