John Dean Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Dean (San Angelo, Texas), who passed away on February 22, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph C. Dean and Mary Kahanek Dean; and his siblings, Joseph Dean, Tom Dean and Patricia Catron.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa Dean; his children, Jennifer Hammack (Taylor) and Ryan Owens (Kindall); his grandchildren, Simon, Willa, Adler, Micah Owens, Sloane and Ryan Dean Hammack; his goddaughter Rianne Manning; his brothers-in-law, John Roberts, Bill Roberts (Kathy), Scott Roberts (Mary) of San Angelo and Russel Roberts (Lucy) of Plano; and his caregivers, Faith, Lindsey, Andrew and John. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church (2309 S A and M Ave, San Angelo, TX 76904). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
