He was predeceased by: his parents, Margarita Oviedo and Jose Marquez; his siblings, Esteban Marquez, Jose "Pepe" Marquez, Julia and Rosa Marquez; and his granddaughter Amber Mariah Marquez.
He is survived by: his wife Carmen Marquez of San Angelo; his sons, Jesus Marquez, Jr., Fernando Marquez (Berta) of Eagle Pass, Jose Raul Marquez and Armando Marquez (Lidia) of San Angelo; and his grandchildren, Vanessa N. Marquez, Jesenia Jo Marquez, Fernando Andres Marquez, Frank Rodriguez, Mariah Marquez, Aleina Marquez, Erica Velez, Naomi Marquez and Oksana Marquez. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel (402 Rio Concho Dr, San Angelo, TX 76903). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (7 W Ave N, San Angelo, TX 76903).
