He was predeceased by: his parents, William Adra Phillips and Minnie Maudine Knapp; and his siblings, Ruby Mae, Otis, Ophelia "Pat", Samuel Preston "Pete", Adra William and Milburn Curtis.
He is survived by: his spouse Laurie Hope Pearson of San Angelo; his children, Randy Phillips (Lucy) of Dallas, TX, Meagan Dekkar of Lansdale, PA and John Phillips (Jennifer) of Royse City, TX; and his grandchildren, Krista Yeakey of Seagoville, TX, Alana Medina of Lansdale, PA, Matthew Phillips of Royse City, TX and Philip "Bubba" Walker of Georgia.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harper Funeral Home (2606 Southland Blvd, San Angelo, TX 76904). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (2321 Armstrong St, San Angelo, TX 76903).
