She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Nelson and Jewel Lee Townsend Boyd; her son Thomas Dirickson; her sisters, Dorothy Teague (IG), Norma Boyd and Barbara Blackledge (Randell); and her granddaughter Halee Harper.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Dirickson (Paula) and Adra Enos (Gary); her stepdaughter Marretta Hernandez (Alfonso); her grandchildren, Priscilla Rhoades (Aaron), Jennie Carboni (Chris), Toni Tucker (Nathan), Tanner Dirickson (Danielle), Trey Dirickson (Abbie), Grace Dirickson, Bryanna Dirickson, Hunter Harper and Jarrett Dirickson; her brother Joe Boyd (Diane); her niece Debbie Stevens; and her nephews, Jack Biddle Jr. and Lance Biddle. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Harper Funeral Home (2606 Southland Blvd, San Angelo, TX 76904).
Because of Gwen's generous heart, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
