Bill Taylor wrote a sympathy message

“I met Gary on 1 April 1980. I had just signed into Chanute AFB and he had recently transferred to SRAM SETS after spending time in Electronic Principles as an instructor. Over the next eight years we shared the same office together. He was a good friend during the good times and bad. We retired from Chanute at the same time seeing our friends sent all over the USA. I will miss him greatly. Goodbye my friend.”

John Cressy wrote a sympathy message

“I was an Air Force Instructor with Gary at Chanute TTC, Rantoul Illinois from July of 1980 until I left in October 1984. Gary was one of the most dedicated instructors, making sure we only sent the best trained Airman out into SAC. Thanks to Facebook I was able to re-connect with Gary and his passing was a shock to me. I pray for his family and loved ones at this time that they find peace while they grieve their loss. Rest in peace my friend.”
