He is survived by: his son Michael Coggin; his daughter-in-law Diana of Salado, Texas; his sister Ruth Coggin of Axtell, Texas; his grandchildren, Toni Coggin, Casey Coggin of Lubbock, Texas, Brinn Serbanic (Michael) of China Spring, Texas and Blake Newman (Sunni) of Johnson City, Texas; and his great grandchildren, Braxton, Nolan, Logan, Noah, Dean, Jack, Henry, Noelle, Evelyn and Lily.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Shaffer Funeral Home - Sherwood Way (1939 Sherwood Way, San Angelo, TX 76901).
Donations in lieu of flowers is requested to his favorite charity – San Angelo Christian Academy.
