He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Hernandez and Gabriella Garza Hernandez. He is survived by: his wife Eva Sanchez; his sons, Rick Hernandez of San Angelo, Eduardo Hernandez of San Antonio and Chris Hernandez of Austin; and his sisters, Ofie Holter of Austin and Mary Julia Villafranco of Victoria. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
